Wellington High Performance Aquatics are proud to support Wellington swimmer Lewis Clareburt on his journey to the Pan Pacific Championships. Lewis (pictured with team mate Tommy Wilson) has just completed competing at NZ Opens where he won gold in the 400IM, 200IM, 200 fly and silver in the 400 free. Congratulations to WHiPA Lloyd Morrison Aquatic Athlete Scholarship recipient, swimmer Lewis Clareburt. Lewis (18) has been with the Capital Swim Club since he first started competitive swimming at 8 years old. His main event is the 400 Individual Medley, but at New Zealand Age Group Championships 2018 this year he won 8 Age Group Titles over different events, which he did also the previous year as a 17 year old. At this years NZ Age Group Champs it earned him the Life Member

Capital swimmer Lewis Clareburt has continued his rapid rise after he won eight gold medals at the New Zealand Age Group Swimming Championships last week. The year 13 Scots College student dominated the 16-18-year-old field at the championships held in Kilbirnie, doubling his medal tally from the same event last year. Congratulations to The New Zealand Black Fins named 2016 World Surf Life Saving Champions for the 3rd consecutive time at the world champs in the Netherlands today. Congratulations to Lewis Clarebert - 2016 WHiPA Lloyd Morrison Aquatics Athlete scholarship recipient! Lewis is a student at Scots College in Year 12.
