Anton Down-Jenkins, 2017 WHiPA Lloyd Morrison Pathway to Podium Scholarship Recipient

Congratulations to Anton Down-Jenkins, 2017 WHiPA Lloyd Morrison Pathway to Podium Scholarship Recipient. Anton Down-Jenkins is 17 years old and in his final year at Wellington High School. He has been part of Wellington Diving Club for nearly 7 years and have been a member of the Diving New Zealand National Squad since 2014. Earlier this year he was selected to represent New Zealand at two FINA Diving Grand Prix Events in Canada and Puerto Rico, and won two Bronze medals. On the success of these events he has qualified and been selected for the 2017 FINA World Diving Championships in Hungary. The goal of the Pathway to Podium Programme (run by Sport Wellington) is to provide a platform from which performance athletes build knowledge and skills to better prepare them for high performance.
